The time has finally come to throw the biggest independent bookstore party there ever was! Wrapping up a Spirit-filled week, please know that we are cheering all 1,600+ participating stores on and wishing you all a fantastic Independent Bookstore Day.

• Promote Indie Bookstore Day front and center on all your social media channels, website, and newsletters!
  • Feel free to use the “Algorithms don’t throw parties. Indies do” assets!
• Enjoy the party!
• Tag @americanbooksellers on Instagram and @IndieBound on Facebook on Saturday along with #IndieBookstoreDay and we’ll share on our channels. We encourage you to share other stores’ celebrations as well. It’s a national party after all!
• Thank your customers for supporting your store on Independent Bookstore Day! Keep the party going if there are exclusives remaining!
• Be on the lookout for the Sell Thru Survey opening Monday, April 28, to Friday, May 2.
• Share your media mentions! Email your store’s story to [email protected] to be added to the IndieBound Indie Bookstore Day Media Coverage webpage.
• Email your Indie Bookstore Day display photos to [email protected]!
