This information will help us work with publishers as we determine next year’s exclusives. Trading Post Have extra exclusives or want to make a trade with another store? We have started an Indie Bookstore Day 2025 Trading Post spreadsheet for stores to list what they have available to trade and what they are looking for. Already thinking about Independent Bookstore Day 2026? So are we! The next Independent Bookstore Day will be on April 25, 2026. We are already starting to plan for next year by scheduling a meeting with the planning committee! Although our newsletters will be a little more spaced out during this planning time, we’ll keep you updated on key information and dates for next year’s celebration! If you know of a bookseller who would like to receive these emails for planning next year’s celebration, they can sign up for Indie Bookstore Day Newsletters through the Email Subscriptions tab on their Member Dashboard.
