Winter Institute Volunteer Assignments on the Way [2]

In a new initiative, the American Booksellers Association asked booksellers to indicate their interest in becoming a volunteer at this year’s event on the 2014 Winter Institute registration form.

Booksellers who signed up to volunteer when they registered should have received and completed a volunteer interest survey in late October or early November. Volunteer names were collected and finalized from this survey.

Confirmed volunteers should receive their proposed volunteer assignments via e-mail this week.

Interested booksellers who did not complete the survey should contact Membership and Marketing Officer Meg Smith [4] with the date and time of their arrival in Seattle, and they will be added to the volunteer on-call list.

Among the perks for volunteers will be a volunteer-only lounge and special T-shirts for assigned booksellers.
