[4]Booksellers and international guests at Winter Institute 12 [5] (Wi12) will have the opportunity to experience the rich literary culture of Minneapolis on four bookstore/publisher tours set for Friday, January 27, 2017. Reservations for the two full-day and two half-day tours will open on November 1. Space is limited and is expected to sell out.

The cost per person is $35 for the full-day tours and $25 for the half-day tours.

All tours will start and end at the Wi12 host hotel, the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis. The full-day tours, which will run from 9:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m, will visit a publisher and seven bookstores; the half-day tours, from 11:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., will visit a publisher and four stores.

Stores participating in the Wi12 bookstore/publishers tours include Common Good Books [6], Daybreak Press Global Bookshop [7], Magers & Quinn Booksellers [8], Micawber’s Books [9], Moon Palace Books [10], Once Upon a Crime [11], Red Balloon Bookshop [12], SubText Books [13], Wild Rumpus Books for Young Readers [14], and Open Book/Milkweed Books [15]. The selection and order of the tour stops will vary.
