Kobo Marketing and Promotions
Promoting Kobo eBooks and/or Kobo Devices, In-store and Online
Kobo eReading partipants are encouraged to promote the program in-store and online. For an example of how one store, Pomegranate Books in Wilmington, N.C. promotes eBooks during author events, and acquires new affiliated Kobo accounts, see here.
Kobo also schedules campaigns to promote Kobo eBooks, the various Kobo eReaders, and the Kobo brand name. These campaigns and promotions may be device-focused or content-focused; they may consist of a limited-time price special or a giveaway; they may be tied to a new product launch or to increasing awareness of the Kobo brand. For many of the campaigns, Kobo creates unique posters, banners and other creative items for ABA stores. These materials as well as Kobo logos and device images are housed in the Kobo section of Designs and Downloads.
