Registration for the American Booksellers Association’s 8th annual Children’s Institute [7] (Ci8) is now open to booksellers at all ABA member stores. The event will take place June 22–24, 2020, at the Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa in Tucson, Arizona.

The conference fee is $139 per bookseller, with a maximum of five booksellers per ABA member company. The ABA hotel room block will open on February 26, and rooms will cost $115 per night plus tax (watch Bookselling This Week for details).

Children’s Institute will kick off on Monday evening, June 22, with the First-Timer Orientation and Mentor/Mentee Meet & Greet and the Ci8 Opening Reception and Costume Party at the Westin.

Monday will also feature an anti-bias workshop and the brand new Bookseller Olympics challenge; Tuesday and Wednesday will be packed with educational programming, including breakout sessions across five specific tracks of learning:

• Operations & Finances
• Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion
• Programming & Partnerships
• Advanced Bookselling & Special Topics
