WHAT TO DO

Children’s Institute (Ci9) registration closes Monday, August 9. Don't miss out!

Sign up for a free immersive workshop at Ci9 led by the authors of Did That Just Happen?! Beyond Diversity — Creating Sustainable and Inclusive Organizations (Beacon Press), Dr. Lauren Wadsworth and Dr. Stephanie Pinder-Amaker. (See their Winter Institute 2021 presentation here.)

This is a recommended workshop to improve communication in your store, especially between owners, managers, and frontline booksellers.

“I found this workshop to be very useful,” said Cynthia Compton of 4 Kids Books & Toys. “In a world that buffets us with controversy and shouting, a kinder, more structured method to approach difficult conversations with both safety and respect is a valuable tool.”

To participate in this free workshop, booksellers must be registered for Ci9.
