With the FTC reportedly poised to file an antitrust suit against Amazon, ABA and others urge regulators to investigate Amazon's stranglehold on the book industry and their anti-competitive practices and pricing.

In a letter to FTC Chair Lina Khan, ABA CEO Allison Hill cautioned the FTC that Amazon’s desire for an eleventh hour meeting is likely an attempt to swing a deal to avoid real punishment for its anticompetitive behavior.
