31 Booksellers Named ABC Children’s Institute Scholarship Recipients [5]

[7]The American Booksellers Association announced today the booksellers who will be attending this April’s ABC Children’s Institute [7] on scholarship. The awards, covering the conference fee, a two-night stay at the host hotel, and up to $400 in travel expenses, are funded by Baker & Taylor, the event’s lead sponsor; 21 publisher sponsors [8]; and the Book Industry Charitable (Binc) Foundation [9].

“The American Booksellers Association extends sincere thanks to our Children’s Institute sponsors for their ongoing commitment to children’s bookselling,” said Senior Program Officer Joy Dallanegra-Sanger. “Due to their generosity, 31 ABA members will be able to take part in a great educational program that will offer much that booksellers can take back and implement in the their stores to encourage reading among the children in their communities.”
