Children’s Institute Very Close to Capacity: Register Now [5]

[7]Registration for the 2015 ABC Children’s Institute [7] (Ci3) is expected to reach maximum capacity within the next several days; booksellers who want to attend should register now [8].

The event, to be held Sunday, April 19, to Tuesday, April 21, at California’s Hilton Pasadena [9], is open to all bookseller members of the American Booksellers Association, with a maximum of five registrants per member business. The institute’s nonrefundable conference fee is $79 per person.

Ci3’s program [10] includes three plenary sessions [11], a featured talk, 10 breakout sessions, five roundtable discussions, a reps’ speed dating lunch, an Author Reception [12], a Scholastic Meet & Treat After Party, a tour of Vroman’s Bookstore [13], and more.

ABA has also arranged a central meeting place and luggage storage for Ci3 registrants who are planning to attend the two-day Los Angeles Times Festival of Books on Sunday, April 19, just prior to the institute. The space — Board Room 201 on the second floor of the Radisson Hotel on the festival site, the University of Southern California, Los Angeles — will be available to Ci3 participants on Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
