E-commerce Fraud Alert:

Last November, the IndieCommerce team published a help doc on what to watch out for when processing online orders. Be sure to share this help doc with everyone at your store who is involved in online order processing. Be especially wary of large textbook orders that you may receive via email or phone, from customers you are not familiar with or are not local. Although this scam has been around for decades, fraudulent textbook purchases using stolen credit card numbers are still attempted frequently.
