Health Care Reform

The Affordable Care Act (ACA) was passed by Congress in 2010 and includes an individual mandate that requires everyone to have health insurance or to pay a penalty. On October 1, enrollment in the new health insurance marketplaces is scheduled to start across the country. **Online enrollment in the federally run, Healthcare.gov SHOP insurance exchanges has been delayed until November 2014. ** Click on your state below to find state-specific information on how the health reform bill affects you and/or your store.
