The ABA hotel block will open on Tuesday, October 20, at 1:00 pm ET. A booking link will be emailed to registered attendees.
A Note on Registration
Winter Institute registration is only available for Member stores that are already open. Provisional Members who plan to open a store in the future may register to attend the Paz Workshop at Winter Institute. However, they must also register for the full event ($794), or a Thursday Day Pass ($409). Space is limited. Registration for Paz will open on September 21.

A Note on Costs
ABA works extensively to keep costs as low as possible for Institute attendees. These prices reflect the rising cost of food in general and the high cost of hosting events. ABA continues to subsidize the cost for each attendee.

ABA’s premiere five-day annual industry conference featuring educational programming for independent bookstores, as well as a Black, Indigenous, AAPI, Latina/o/x, Chicana/o/x, Hispanic, and BIPOC bookseller pre-conference event, IGNITE, keynote talks, author receptions, publisher parties, and dedicated time to network with booksellers, authors, and publishers from around the country. As the largest gathering of bookselling professionals in the US, Winter Institute attracts over 900 booksellers, along with hundreds of authors, publishing professionals, international booksellers, and industry partners.
