Book Fairs and Festivals

If travel is possible for your store, international book festivals can provide a great opportunity to  discover new publishers, distributors, or books of Spanish titles. (Tip: Cash in hand helps! Some vendors may not  take credit cards or may be willing to offer a cash  discount. And you may even end up bringing  books back with you so plan ahead for transport!)

  • Books Across Borders — Fellowship  opportunity from the Independent Publishers  Caucus for Indie Booksellers to travel to  international book fairs.
  • Hablemos Escritoras — The encyclopedia  and the largest voice repository in the world  specializing in writers, translators, and critics  in Spanish, as well as the publishers and  magazines that publish them.

Wholesaler Resources 

Ingram has curated lists of Spanish titles in ipage for adults, teens, and children. • Found under the Browse tab, then selecting High Interest Categories. There are links for Spanish  Language Books under each of the age group headers. 

  • Power Search in ipage, which allows you to search for Spanish titles specifying various criteria  (age level, price, format, etc.)
  • If you click on the Search tab, select Power, which will take you to the Power Search. Enter your  criteria and hit enter. 

Expanding on the current list: 

  • List of Bestselling titles in Spanish in ipage
  • Under the Browse tab, you can select Bestsellers. Scroll down to the list labeled Top Spanish  Language Titles.
  • Titles for Children and Adults
  • Simple searches will bring up our most current inventory
