Tegan called the meeting to order and reminded the Board of the Board norms and their commitment to antiracism, equity, access, and representation.
Board members were invited to note any Dualities of Interest in the Zoom meeting chat function. None were noted.
2:08 pm ET: Minutes from October Board Meeting
Jake moved to approve October minutes (as corrected), Brein seconded, unanimously approved.
2:10 pm – 3:00 pm ET: Board Pipeline Discussion: Appointees, Nominees, Designated Board Seats for Black Booksellers
Diane reported on the Nominating Committee meeting and their recommendation of Paul Hanson, co-owner of Village Books in Bellingham, WA, for election to the Board. Holly moved to approve the nomination and Jessica seconded. The Board voted unanimously to approve the nomination and thanked the committee for their work.
The Board discussed the Board pipeline and recruitment, and formed a new Board Pipeline and Recruitment Committee with Jenny Cohen and Brein Lopez as members, with non-board members to be appointed.

The Board discussed a reimagined format for the Community Forum at Winter Institute.
