Allison shared updates on staffing, advocacy, Indie Commerce 2.0 migration, and future programming plans.
1:23 pm ET: Committee Reports
Governance: Cynthia is working on governance review outline.
Nominating: Lisa and Jessica are working on committee appointments.
Audit: Holly shared that the group will revisit committee description and confirmed non-Board committee members.
Finance: No update.
Agenda: No update.
Vendor Review: Since audit vendor and CFO are new, audit vendor review will not happen this year. Cynthia suggested the vendor review committee do a performance review of William Jones of their last 5 years of management.
Documents: Cynthia thanked the Document committee for their work.
Board Pipeline: Brein shared potential list of candidates to serve on this committee and suggested changing the name of this committee to the Connections committee. Brein to write committee description for Boardable.

Discussed future Board education, fall regionals, and big picture trends including growth of genre bookstores, changes in school access, and threats to reading. Before the meeting was adjourned, the Board recognized PK's many years of service.
