Here is an update on the latest book challenges for the weeks of July 17 and July 24, 2024.

It’s come to our attention that scammers are using the names, logos, and information of independent bookstores to scam self-published authors. If you are a bookstore or author who has been approached about this scam, please take these steps.

Stick with it though, because you will care for Brett and the people around him so deeply, and if you’re anything like me, end up sobbing over the last few chapters. I absolutely loved it and wholeheartedly recommend it,” said Donna Liu of Kepler’s Books in Menlo Park, California.

Taylor is an incredible artist and her lush illustrations give wonderful depth to this imaginative story of grief, belonging and love,” said Holly Weinkauf of Red Balloon Bookshop in St. Paul, Minnesota.
