  • Alabama book banner appointed to library board, denies banning books and proposes banning LGBTQ+ books in same breath

  • Alachua County, FL 2/7 meeting to discuss book ban policy

  • Brevard County, FL school board bans another book despite hundreds protesting

  • Campbell County, WY passes book ban policy 

  • Conroe ISD, TX is reported to have shadowbanned at least 125 books, including ten last month, often in violation of policy

  • La Grange ISD, TX library policy under scrutiny as four books hang in limbo

  • Manatee County School District, FL approves book challenge policy, drawing criticism from parents

  • Missouri Secretary of State candidate Valentina Gomez burns LGBTQ+ books with a flamethrower in campaign video

  • Rockingham County, VA Rallies against book bans

  • Sumner County, TN attack on free expression expands from schools to public libraries
