Deadline for BEA Scholarship Drawing for Kids’ Institute Participants Extended to April 25

The deadline for ABC Children’s Institute attendees to submit an entry to win one of five scholarships covering a three-night stay at the Barnard College dormitory during BookExpo America 2014 has been extended to April 25.

A flier about the accommodations and an entry form for the scholarship drawing was included in booksellers’ Children’s Institute Welcome Bags. The winner will be chosen on a random basis by BEA. Rooms at Barnard are $75 per night and include a twin bed and linens, desk, chair, dresser, and wardrobe/closet space. Floors have shared bathrooms, which are cleaned daily. All floors are gender specific. The dorm accommodations are close to the subway, and an attendant is on duty 24/7.
