Winter Institute Registration to Open in Next Week’s BTW

Event registration and hotel reservations for the American Booksellers Association’s 10th Annual Winter Institute (Wi10) will open in Bookselling This Week on Thursday, September 18. The 2015 Winter Institute will be held February 8 – 11 at the Grove Park Inn in Asheville, North Carolina.

The Winter Institute is expected to sell out quickly so booksellers who are interested in attending should register and book their hotel reservations as soon as possible.

The Winter Institute is open exclusively to Regular and Provisional ABA members and invited guests. The conference fee is $89 per person and is nonrefundable. Registration is limited to 500 booksellers with a maximum of three registrants per member business. Space will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis; a wait list will form when the registration limit is reached.

The 10th anniversary celebration will feature a lineup of outstanding education and keynote speakers, author receptions, unparalleled networking, an indie retail crawl in downtown Asheville, and customized tours of the area’s attractions. Look for program details in next week’s issue.
