An ABA Spring Booksellers Forum Is Coming to Your Region
This spring, American Booksellers Association staff will once again be traveling around the country to meet with members and non-members alike at Booksellers Forums, held in conjunction with the regional booksellers associations. The forum program is designed to provide attendees with an opportunity to share ideas, discuss industry issues, and receive updates on various ABA projects.
The 2015 forum program will also offer the brand-new ABA education session “Exploring New Markets,” which will examine how thoughtful innovation, combined with organized planning and execution, is key to successfully tapping new — and profitable — markets. A number of opportunities in both customer demographics and proven sales and marketing initiatives will be reviewed, with an emphasis on the practical steps necessary to implement appropriate programs in the bookstore.
