Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly version

The IndieCommunication newsletter of December 2, 2015, includes information for IndieCommerce stores about linking to regional holiday catalogs, Q&A webinars, and sign-up for one-on-one sessions at Winter Institute 2016.

Link to a Regional Holiday Catalog

Stores that would like to add a regional holiday catalog to an IndieCommerce website can do so by placing a menu link to the catalog of their choice into one of the site’s navigation menus. Instructions for all regions (other than the Pacific Northwest) can be found here.

Quick and Easy Q&A for December

Questions about website functionality may intensify during the holidays, so the IndieCommerce team will hold a series of Q&A hours on GoToWebinar. Q&As will take place on Tuesdays at 11:00 a.m. EST and Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m. EST from December 1 through December 16. No registration is required.

A link and webinar code will be posted the day before the scheduled Q&A on the IndieCommerce Webinar Sign-up Page on BookWeb.org.

Recordings of past webinars are available in the IndieCommerce Webinar Center on BookWeb.org.

Sign Up for a One-on-One Sessions at Winter Institute 2016

The IndieCommerce team is now scheduling appointments for one-on-one sessions at Winter Institute 2016 in Denver. Appointment dates are Sunday, January 24; Monday, January 25; and Tuesday, January 26, 2016. All one-on-one sessions will be held in Plaza Court 7 at the Wi11 host hotel, the Sheraton Denver Downtown.

IndieCommerce stores can register and indicate their preferred meeting times on the form found here. The IndieCommerce team will try to accommodate a store’s first choice, but there are a limited number of time slots. To ensure an appointment, stores should choose several times. An e-mail confirmation with the appointment time will be sent to the store within one week from submission of the form.

Questions and suggestions can be sent to the IndieCommerce team at [email protected].
