The American Booksellers Association’s 10th annual Winter Institute (Wi10), to be held in Asheville, North Carolina, on February 8 – 11, 2015, is made possible by the generous support of Ingram Content Group, the event’s lead sponsor, with additional support from more than 60 publishers large and small. In addition to many returning publishers, ABA is welcoming 11 first-time sponsors for 2015, including three university presses.

“ABA is immensely grateful to the record-number 63 publishers who have committed their support to Winter Institute 2015,” said ABA Development Officer Mark Nichols. “On this, our 10th anniversary, we are especially excited to welcome 11 new publisher sponsors to the event, including three university presses, extending the diversity of information and offerings that will be available to bookseller attendees.”

Thanks to their sponsorship, 500 ABA member booksellers will be able to take part in a jam-packed program of more than 25 education sessions, outstanding plenary speakers, reps’ picks lunches, publisher focus groups, special events, and more. In addition, 52 booksellers will attend the Winter Institute on publisher-sponsored scholarships, covering the conference fee, up to a four-night stay plus tax at the Grove Park Inn at the special ABA rate, and transportation costs up to $400. (Scholarship winners will be announced in mid-November.)
