Booksellers and bookstore owners who identify as a member of the Disability community are invited to gather for connection, support, community, resources, & networking. The term disability includes but is not limited to physical, sensory, cognitive, intellectual, or developmental disabilities, chronic conditions, and mental illnesses. If you are currently in the process of exploring your identity and relationship with the disabled community, please do not self-reject. You are welcome.

Booksellers interested in attending should visit their Member Dashboard and join through Email Subscriptions. Don't have a login? Request one here.

Based on feedback from the Fall 2023 Affinity Groups survey, meetings may be attended by & facilitated by DEIA Member Relations Manager, Mariana Calderón, though facilitation by volunteer bookseller will be prioritized, pending availability of volunteers.

While allies are greatly appreciated, these closed sessions are available only for individuals who identify as members of these communities, and those who do not identify as disabled should not plan to attend.

For events requiring registration, registration links are visible to logged-in, ABA bookseller members only.
