ABA Management Book Club

ABA Education Meetups feature a rotating selection of bookstore education programming including virtual bookstore tours, bookseller lightning talks, and focused conversations on topics that will help your bookstore succeed. Join the ABA Education Team on Zoom on the second Thursday of every month at 3:00 pm ET.

Register for the 2023 Education Meetups here. A single registration provides access to all upcoming sessions on the schedule.

ABA's Lightning Talk series features three booksellers presenting 5-10 minute talks on tech tools, organizational strategies, communication methods, or innovations they’ve made in their stores. Each presentation will be followed by time for Q&A and discussion.

Bookstore tours are always a highlight of ABA’s in-person institutes, and now you can join in on the fun from the comfort of your home (or bookstore!). During our Virtual Bookstore Tours series, two featured bookstores will offer the opportunity to take a peek behind the curtain and showcase areas of the store that they love the most, whether it’s a cozy book nook for young readers, a meticulously organized overstock space, or the entire store.

Submit your store for future Virtual Bookstore Tours & Lightning Talks

We look forward to hearing from a variety of stores, including non-traditional models. Email [email protected] to submit a proposal to present a Lightning Talk or for your store to be featured in a Virtual Bookstore Tour.
