  • Following up with publishers and distributors to make sure books have been shipped in time to arrive at the store when needed for events.
  • Promptly advising website manager, store buyer, and event planner when titles are not available
  • Working with schools, libraries, and other organizations to facilitate their ordering and receiving books they need for author and corporate events, meetings, and classroom and library use
  • Posting new events and new products to our website as needed

  • Strong verbal, writing, and organizational skills (including active use of emails and spreadsheets) and the ability to troubleshoot problems is a must
  • 1-2 years work experience in bookstores or e-commerce preferred
  • Interest in and knowledge of children’s books extremely helpful
