Chevalier’s Books, LA’s oldest independent bookstore, is seeking a full-time Event Manager who will be responsible for overseeing every facet of the author events. Our bookstore facilitates multiple events per week, including both in store and offsite, and we collaborate with many nonprofits, schools, churches, libraries, and other offsite venues. We are also looking to expand into non- book related events in the store.

Bookstore Assistant Manager

Large independent children’s bookstore (Books of Wonder, NYC) is looking for bright, articulate, cheerful, courteous book lovers with extensive knowledge of children’s books and an eagerness to share it with others to join our store’s management team with a focus on overseeing the smooth operation of our store, including our many live and virtual author and artist events.
