ABC Group Common Core Title Resource Now on BookWeb

The October 2013 edition of the ABC Group Common Core Resource is now available to all ABA member booksellers with a BookWeb user name and password. The Excel file, developed with the input of ABA’s Publisher Partners and synthesized by ABC Group Manager Shannon O’Connor, features 900 Common Core-compatible backlist titles sortable by:
- Publisher
- Grade Level
- School Subject
- Genre
- Measures of Text Complexity (Accelerated Reader, Lexile Level, and Fountas & Pinnell)
- Core Narrative and Plot Elements
The resource, which is located under “Children’s Bookselling” in the Education section of BookWeb’s Designs & Downloads, was developed to help booksellers both build their inventory of Common Core title selections and fill requests from teachers and librarians for lists of Common Core-appropriate titles.
The ABC Group Common Core Resource will be updated with recent publications twice per year. Booksellers can expect to see the next edition in spring 2014.
