A new terminal for processing Book Sense Gift Cards is now available for purchase. The Elite 710 Terminal costs $295 and is a dial-up. A bit smaller than the Elite 510, the 710 has a built-in printer (that uses thermal paper) and a magnetic swipe. For more information and a photo of the 710 Terminal, click here.

The Elite 510 and 710 terminals are just two of a number of options for processing Book Sense gift cards. The Book Sense Gift Card Program works independently of credit card terminals and bookstore POS systems. Processing can take place through Internet access at, near, or as part of the cash register or through telephone lines. Regardless of a store's primary processing method, WebPOS.givex.com (a user-friendly secure Internet site) and IVR (Interactive Voice Response or automated telephone service) are available as backup methods at no extra charge. Store.givex.com is where booksellers set-up the program for their stores, run reports, and process bulk transactions.)
