Special Promo for PEN World Voices Festival Available to Booksellers, Customers

From May 4 – 10, 2015, more than 100 writers from 30 countries will gather in New York for the 11th Annual PEN World Voices Festival of International Literature. This year’s program, co-curated by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, will provide a rare chance to hear voices and perspectives from contemporary Africa and its diaspora.

Featured authors will include Teju Cole, Edwidge Danticat, Mona Eltahawy, Richard Flanagan, Aminatta Forna, Yahya Hassan, Yusef Komunyakaa, Rachel Kushner, Alain Mabanckou, Achille Mbembe, Michael Ondaatje, Tracy K. Smith, Tom Stoppard, Ngũgĩ wa Thiong’o, Binyavanga Wainaina, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, and many more.

Booksellers and their customers are invited to take advantage of PEN member discounts on tickets for a wide range of festival events, including debates, one-on-one conversations, and workshops in venues throughout the city. The discount brings the ticket price for most events down to $10, from $15. IndieBound is included as a purchasing option on the festival website for books by participating authors.

A web banner and poster to promote the PEN World Voices Festival of International Literature are available in the Booksellers DIY section of BookWeb. Booksellers should also provide customers with the discount code INDIE2015.
