Announcing the 2005 - 2006 Reading Group Book Sense Picks

Stores with Book Sense will be receiving the 2005 - 2006 Reading Group Book Sense Picks in the April Red Box mailing, but the full list, with bookseller quotes, can be previewed online at news.bookweb.org/read/3361.

This is the third year that Book Sense has produced a Reading Group list, which was initiated at the suggestion of independent booksellers in the Book Sense program.

This list has proven consistently popular with consumers, and ABA has received many requests for additional copies from booksellers, who report that they have found it a valuable marketing resource for book buyers in reading groups. The list showcases wonderful paperback titles and extends the reach of Book Sense and independent booksellers' selections into a store's backlist.

The 2005 - 2006 Reading Group list is full of intriguing titles, which will engage a wide variety of readers' interests. The Book Sense team at ABA extends an especially earnest thanks to all the booksellers who shared their knowledge and passion for great writing.
