Dungeons & Dragons Book Sense Gift Cards Now Available

Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly version

Booksellers participating in the Book Sense Gift Card Program can now order four limited edition Dungeons & Dragons gift cards, sponsored by Wizards of the Coast. Featuring art from the Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) role-playing game that has defined the genre and set the standard for fantasy role-playing for more than 30 years, the cards will make perfect holiday gifts for teens.

Wizards of the Coast has paid for the card, the presenter, and the transaction fee -- saving booksellers 80 cents per combination. The bookstore must pay for shipping and handling, to add a logo (if desired), and for increments (30 cents per use).

Cards and presenters must be ordered through Givex at http://booksenseorders.givex.com, using the bookstore's store.givex.com ID/password.

Stores can feature one design or all four: Eberron, Efreeti, Wizard, or the Forgotten Realms. (To see the four cards and presenters, go to http://www.bookweb.org/read/8116 or booksenseorders.givex.com.)

  • To allow as many booksellers as possible to take advantage of this special offer, the following restrictions apply:
  • Maximum of 500 cards and presenters per design, per bookstore.
  • Booksellers must order equal quantities of cards and presenters.
  • All standard minimums apply for card orders:

Generic: 100 cards, additional quantities in increments of 50, up to 500 per design.
Imprinted: 250 cards, additional quantities in increments of 50, up to 500 per design. To add a logo, booksellers pay a $25 setup fee and nine cents per card.

Booksellers must have a Book Sense letter of agreement and a Book Sense Gift Card agreement on file with the American Booksellers Association in order to sell and redeem Book Sense Gift Cards. D&D cards and presenters are available while supplies last. All other program fees apply.
