The IndieCommerce team is now welcoming Group 3 stores to request a Drupal 7 website as part of the IndieCommerce system upgrade. Any stores from Groups 1 or 2 that have not already made the transition are also welcome to request the migration.

After reading the details in this week’s IndieCommunication, stores should send an e-mail to [email protected] and they will be entered into the site queue on a first-come, first-served basis. A review of the steps and procedures for the migration is available here.

The IndieCommerce team will begin the migration of Group 3 stores the week of August 18.

Twenty bookstores are actively working on their Drupal 7 sites and nine bookstores have fully migrated to Drupal 7, with their sites now live on the new platform:

As the IndieCommerce staff continues to work on keeping everyone up to date on upgrade news, stores are encouraged to sign up for Upgrade Update calls (every Thursday at 4:00 p.m. ET) with Member Technology Director Neil Strandberg.

Additionally, now that the IndieCommerce ticketing system is in place, booksellers should know that if they receive an automated response, IndieCommerce staff will get back to them shortly. The aim is to provide the most accurate and speedy responses during this very busy migration time.
