Kobo Offers Account Credits With New “Refer a Friend” Program

Kobo is inviting current customers to refer their friends to Kobo in order to earn a $10 Kobo credit for themselves, plus $5 for their friends who sign up for a new Kobo account.

With the Kobo “Refer a Friend” program, new customers to Kobo will receive $5 credited to their account for their first book purchase. The referring customer will receive a $10 credit to their Kobo account once their friend makes their first book purchase.

When a Kobo customer affiliated with an independent bookstore refers a friend to Kobo, that friend is automatically affiliated with the original independent bookstore, which will receive credit for every eBook purchase.

Booksellers can find marketing materials for all of Kobo’s promotions in BookWeb’s DIY.

To ensure new customers get referred to their store, booksellers promoting the “Refer a Friend” program must share their store’s sign-up page, plus the redirect link https://store.kobobooks.com/p/share.
