To take advantage of the Kobo Launch Incentive — which includes free displays, free demo units, sell-through bonuses, product returnability, extended dating, and a cash bonus for participating — ABA member stores must submit a “Kobo Participation Agreement” by midnight ET on Saturday, October 20.
The ABA/Kobo partnership, announced in August, enables all ABA members to offer their customers eReaders, eReading accessories, and eBooks from Kobo’s catalog of nearly three million titles. The Ingram Content Group is the exclusive distributor of Kobo eReaders and accessories to ABA member stores. Bookstores beating the deadline are eligible to take part in the launch program created by Kobo, Ingram, and ABA to provide booksellers with a very low-risk opportunity to feature Kobo devices.
