An online auction to benefit the American Booksellers Foundation for Free Expression (ABFFE) is now accepting bids on eBay on more than 65 pieces of art created for children’s books. The auction, which supports the free speech rights of kids, features original works and high-quality prints from some of today's top artists and illustrators, including Bob Staake, Jon Klassen, Robin Preiss-Glasser, Jarrett J. Krosoczka, and Chris Van Dusen.

A link to join the auction is available here. The auction ends at noon ET on next Monday, June 9.

As with the Children’s Book Art Auction held at BookExpo America (BEA) last week, proceeds from the online auction will support the Kids’ Right to Read Project (KRRP) and Banned Books Week, the national celebration of the freedom to read. KRRP, which was founded by ABFFE and the National Coalition Against Censorship, helps students, parents, teachers, librarians, and booksellers fight book censorship in schools and libraries.
