Submit Topics Now for the June 11 ABA Town Hall

The American Booksellers Association will hold a virtual version of its Annual Membership Meeting on Thursday, June 11, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. ET, followed by the Town Hall. Originally slated to begin at 3:00 p.m. ET, the Town Hall will now begin immediately when the Annual Meeting concludes, which may be well before 3:00 p.m.

Booksellers are encouraged to submit Town Hall questions or comments ahead of time at townhall@bookweb.org. During the meeting, questions will be invited through the meeting’s Q&A interface; however, because the meeting is being presented in webinar format, booksellers will not be able to speak.

A link to join the meeting will be sent to ABA member booksellers ahead of the event; publishers will be sent a link via which to watch the livestreamed event. Watch BTW for more details.

In addition, booksellers and publishers are encouraged to stick around after the Town Hall to watch the Publishers Weekly 2020 Bookstore of the Year Award ceremony for Porter Square Books.
