A new season of insightful indie booksellers' recommendations for the next great reads in children's and young adult titles -- featured in a four-page list with a bold, bright, and fun design -- will be arriving soon in bookstores in the Summer 2009 Kids' Next List.
The new list can be seen in preview now and, as of May 21, will be featured on IndieBound.org in a user-friendly format that gives online browsers access to all the picks -- including the list's Top Ten selections -- and the opportunity to purchase titles from their favorite indie bookstores.
Copies of the list will be arriving in stores by the end of the month in the quarterly Children's White Box. (Not receiving White Box mailings? Learn how.)
The Summer Kids' Next List was compiled based on the title nominations of independent booksellers nationwide, and it features their selections of notable books for young children and teens, both the top-10 titles and an additional 46 titles in age-appropriate categories, ranging from ages four through eight to titles for teen readers.
