The American Booksellers Association is asking member stores for their input regarding the use of electronic publisher catalogs in general, and the Edelweiss Interactive Publisher Catalog platform, developed by Above the Treeline, in particular.

The short survey seeking information about booksellers' catalog preferences and usage was e-mailed to bookstores last week and is also accessible to ABA members here. Each member store is asked to answer the survey only once.

Survey data will aid in the continuing development of electronic catalogs to ensure that they are user friendly, efficient, and meet all the requirements necessary for the best possible communication between booksellers and publishers.

Survey responses must be received by ABA no later than Tuesday, September 8, at noon EDT. All ABA members who complete the survey will be entered into a drawing to receive a free gift basket of gourmet goodies from Zingerman's Deli of Ann Arbor, courtesy of Above the Treeline.

Questions about the survey should be directed to ABA Senior Director of Publisher Initiatives Mark Nichols at [email protected], or at (800) 637-0037, ext. 6640.
