ABA Hotel @ BEA 2010 in the Heart of NYC

Booksellers at ABA member stores can now make reservations for the Park Central, the official "ABA Hotel" for BookExpo America 2010. The Park Central's location, just 20 blocks north of New York's Javits Convention Center, near Times Square, provides easy access to the trade show and ABA and BEA educational programming and special events.

The Park Central's special low rate, secured by BEA exclusively for ABA member booksellers, is $179 for one or two beds, single or double occupancy; $199 for triple occupancy; and $219 for a quad. A special link to the BEA hotel reservation site and the access code required to book a room at the Park Central is available to ABA bookseller members via BookWeb.org.

This year, all ABA member stores are entitled to a complimentary BEA badge allotment based on their dues category, with an additional badge available for each staff member who participated in February's Winter Institute in San Jose.

ABA's 2010 Day of Education, sponsored by Ingram, will be held on Tuesday, May 25, at the Javits Convention Center. Fifteen education sessions, roundtable discussions, and workshops will cover an array of topics, including the results of a brand-new survey of book-buying behavior, the latest on e-books, and a fresh look at alternative business models.
