On Wednesday from 9:00 - 10:00, Matt Lewis and Renato Poliafito, the authors of Baked Explorations: Classic America Desserts Reinvented, to be published in October by Stewart, Tabori & Chang, will be in the lounge serving breakfast treats from their bakery, Baked, located in Red Hook, Brooklyn.

The ABA Booksellers Lounge is also the place for members to take a break from the hectic trade show floor, check e-mail, recharge laptops, and learn about ABA products and services. The lounge will be open:

  • Tuesday, May 25: 7:30 - 5:00
  • Wednesday, May 26: 9:00 - 3:00 (closes at 3:00 for the ABA Town Hall and Annual Meeting)
  • Thursday, May 27: 9:00 - 5:00

To provide an opportunity for as many members as possible to speak during Wednesday's ABA Town Hall Meeting, a sign-up sheet will be prominently displayed in the ABA Booksellers Lounge beginning Tuesday morning. Booksellers will be called upon in the order in which they sign up.

As an added benefit to ABA members, a free bag check will be available in Room 1E06 from 7:45 - 5:30 on Wednesday and Thursday.
