Book Sense is pleased to welcome its newest Publisher Partner, Charlesbridge Publishing of Watertown, Massachusetts.

Founded in 1980 as an educational publisher, Charlesbridge began publishing children's books in 1989 with the release of five nature titles, including the bestselling The Icky Bug Alphabet Book by Jerry Pallotta and illustrated by Ralph Masiello.

Charlesbridge is dedicated to building a strong list of beautifully illustrated, informative, and creative books that encourage children, parents, and educators to read and explore the world through literature. Noted favorites include Fredrick H. Thury's delightful The Last Straw, Jerry Pallotta's exciting Dory Story, and Iza Trapani's nursery rhyme series.

Charlesbridge is also very excited about new titles due in 2002 including Too Young for Yiddish and Henry David's House -- a picture book adaptation of Thoreau's Walden.
