January 16 Deadline for Special Rate at Winter Institute Overflow Hotel

The deadline to secure the special ABA rate for accommodations at Winter Institute 10’s overflow hotel, the Asheville Renaissance, has been extended to Friday, January 16. The rate is $129 plus tax per night and includes daily shuttle bus service to the Winter Institute’s host hotel, the Grove Park Inn.

Reservations at the Renaissance can be made here and can be updated directly with the hotel.

Registered booksellers who are no longer planning to attend the Winter Institute are asked to let the American Booksellers Association know as soon as possible in order to give their colleagues on the waiting list a better chance of attending. To cancel, booksellers should send an e-mail to [email protected] and indicate whether they have a reservation at the Grove Park Inn or a spot on the hotel waitlist that can be given to another bookseller.

Until January 30, changes to reservations at the Grove Park Inn should be made through ABA rather than the hotel to ensure that canceled rooms go to waiting booksellers. After January 30, booksellers should cancel directly with the Grove Park Inn.
