Registration for the April 22 event with author Glennon Doyle opens on April 12, and the IBD social media campaign, featuring a special giveaway, is underway now. 

The Special Enrollment Period for the health insurance marketplace has been extended to August 15. Booksellers are encouraged to register for a webinar with LIG Solutions to learn more.

Booksellers can download and print signs, book teasers, and shelf-talkers to promote the event in their stores, as well as images for social media posts.

The April 15 event will look at de-escalation techniques, while the April 22 program will unpack microaggressions. All booksellers are invited to sign up for these sessions now.

Topics for the series include magic and queering fantasy worlds; magic, speculative, and real-life issues; identity in the future; and diverse worldbuilding in short stories.

This webinar will highlight changes in the insurance marketplace that will be taking place under the new Biden administration, followed by a discussion around the future of Association Group Health Plans. 

Booksellers can also visit the searchable Independent Bookstore Day map, which went live this week, and sign up to attend the April 1 Marketing Meetup on Independent Bookstore Day.

The webinar, which will run from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. ET, will provide an overview of the state of health insurance in 2021.

Victoria Schwab, Tochi Onyebuchi, Samira Ahmed, and Zoraida Córdova will be in conversation with Dhonielle Clayton on a variety of topics.
