Booksellers can take pre-orders now for two upcoming titles featuring the report on Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian influence on the 2016 election of Donald Trump:
The Mueller Report: The Final Report of the Special Counsel into Donald Trump, Russia, and Collusion by the U.S. Department of Justice with an introduction by Alan Dershowitz (Skyhorse, paperback, 9781510750166, $12.99, March 26, 2019)
The Mueller Report by The Washington Post (Scribner, paperback, 9781982129736, $15, March 26, 2019)
These titles are just two of many that appear on ABA’s new Pre-Order Calendar, a regularly updated list of suggested titles with good pre-order potential, including ordering details and publication dates. Most books on the pre-order calendar include special giveaways and/or signed books for added value to entice customers to order from their local indie.
Visit BookWeb.org to learn more about promoting pre-orders or attend one of ABA’s 2019 Spring Forums, at which ABA will present “ABACUS and Pre-Orders: Two Programs You Can’t Do Without,” an update on two initiatives critical to the success of any independent bookstore: an active pre-orders campaign and participation in the annual ABACUS financial survey. This new educational session will focus on best practices for increasing pre-orders — including the latest on accurately reporting and tracking — based on in-store experiences and feedback from the Pre-Order Booksellers Task Force.
