Many of our members have expressed interest in new ways to drive Kobo eBook sales back into print.  We have an exciting promotion launching from HarperCollins, with one of our favorite indie authors, Simon Van Booy.

How it works:

Customers purchasing the eBook version of The Illusion of Separateness (9780062112262) from Kobo will be eligible for 30% off Simon Van Booy's backlist collection.

  • In order to redeem the discount, customers present their proof of purchase from Kobo (either printed, or digitally) at checkout.
  • The offer is valid on both hardcover, and paperback for the full month of July.
  • Transactions should be reported directly to your HarperCollins sales rep.  Additional details on receiving credit for applicable titles can be found here .

Marketing materials:

  • Animated web banner for use on your website.
  • Printable PDF with instructions as well as a QR code linking to the eBook page.
  • Landing page and banner ads displayed prominently on IndieBound.org.
  • Shelftalkers for The Illusion of Separateness in the July Red Box mailing.

We hope to continue this format with new titles in the future, and welcome feedback on your experience.
